Our vision is to quantitatively and qualitatively uplift the living standards of the public of the Western Province while functioning within the purview of our subject area in a manner to overcome the new economic and social challenges of the 21st Century

Mission

Our mission is to make policies and plans, implement development strategies, direct, supervise and to provide leadership and guidance to the establishments that function under the Ministry to carry out the tasks of the subjects of Provincial Transport , Sports and Youth Affairs, Cultural and Arts Affairs, Cooperative Development, Food Supplies and Distribution Affairs and Rural Development which have been conferred to the Ministry for the welfare of the public of the Western Province.

Make policies and formulate plans , lead and monitor the implementation of development strategies and also to provide with leadership and guidance to the institutions coming under the Ministry for such activities to the performed with a view to smoothly performing the activities of the scope of subjects of Provincial Roads ,Co- operatives, Food, Trade, Water and Electricity assigned to the Ministry for the benefit of the general public residing within the Western Province.
