OBJECTIVES Permit to use vehicles that are in good conditions. To provide good management about vehicles. Regulate passenger transport services and goods carriage services by motor vehicles on the western province road systems.

DUTIES

Issue Revenue Licenses for Motor Vehicles, which are in Western Province.
Issue Fitness Certificates, which are in Western Province.
Issue Conductor Licenses for Private buses, which are in Western Province.
Issue Free Licenses, Dealer’s Licenses, which are in Western Province.
Register Garages, which are in Western Province.

HEAD OFFICE

First established in year 1991 in Sangaraja Mawatha.

PENALTIES

Motor Vehicle Revenue License should be renew within three days of government working days after expire obtained Revenue License 
* After this date, Customer should pay punishment fees as following

Over 12                                                                    30

* Finally use power of court to order recovery of license fee
